The analytical categories that emerged from the analysis were: the importance of CBT in the design of undergraduate nursing students; facilitating factors in the construction of the TCC; and factors that hinder the construction of the TCC. The improvement of knowledge, the expansion of the career, the aggrandizement of nursing and publications in journals were the benefits that academics pointed out about the CBT. Others perceive the complex and demotivating CBT. The advisor, monograph classes I and previous publications, were identified as factors that facilitate the construction of the CBT.
