Cylindruria is a medical condition in which the presence of cylinders (casts) in the urine is observed. These cylinders are formed by the coagulation of proteins, cells, or other substances inside the renal tubules and, when eliminated in the urine, can indicate kidney problems, such as renal insufficiency.
