◼ Sigla em inglês SERS (surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy)
Meaning
The Raman microscopy is a well-established technique that provides information on the vibrational frequencies of molecules from regions as small as 1 cubic micrometer. Such frequencies depend on the masses of atoms in the molecules and on the strength of interatomic bonds, and thus the Raman signal yields a chemically sensitive signature of the specimen.
