Quantum de perda de radiação que ocorre na região de raio X. Quando um elétron K é removido de um átomo e um elétron L ocupa a posição na camada K, a energia emitida na transição anterior não produz radiação, mas a liberação de um elétron L remanescente.

Meaning

A two-electron process where a weakly bounded electron falls back into a state of lower energy, resulting in a release of energy.
