Por meio da visita técnica foi possível constatar a existência de várias relações ecológicas, porém já em processo de ameaça em sua harmonia, tendo em vista a ação de ocupação humana na ilha e influência negativa da cidade de Belém quanto à degradação através da poluição através de lixo inorgânico.

A coleta de dados ocorreu em junho de 20,8, sendo realizada por meio de visitas em quintais urbanos de alunos do ensino médio regular da Escola Estadual Rui Barbosa, município de Alta Floresta/MT. Durante a visita, por meio de conversa informal, realizou-se a identificação das etnoespécies ali presentes e sua utilização.
